  Placement Assistance Program

Perspective:
India is a name to reckon with on the world map with the major global Corporates now setting up their base in India to tap the valuable human resource potential here. Careers and Jobs are being redefined, paving the way for the emergence of new and different job profiles. Education is undergoing a radical change as ‘Employability’ becomes a key factor. But the sad fact is that although Tamilnadu generates 4 lakh skilled manpower annually, as much as 40 per cent of the engineering graduates and 70 per cent of the Humanities graduates do not meet the criteria of employability.

It is in an effort to bridge this gap, that Bodhi has launched an Assessment and Training program titled Placement Assistance Program (PAP). The program is an outgrowth of Bodhi’s unique Employability Quotient (EMp Q) assessment tool which clearly maps an individual on the core employable skills viz: - Business and work skills, Cognitive skills (Analytical, Decision making, Problem solving etc.,) Communication skills, People skills, Emotional management skills and Personal efficacy. The model first assesses the individual on his various aptitudes and attitude /personality traits and then bridges the gap through effective experiential training modules.

We at Bodhi have been working for the past 10 years with corporate and educational institutions and have understood what the companies look for in fresh graduates. Bodhi has developed a win-win model by helping students of colleges and management institutes by enhancing their employability which in turn increases their job opportunities. This model in turn helps companies to get the right candidates. This model is based on years of scientific research and consists of:

1. Assessment of Employability Quotient-Emp Q
2. Training program- Enhancing Emp Q
3. Placement

This is an integrated model where a student will be developed from first year through final year.

We have also been the knowledge partners for CII’s TROpportunities Fair in 2006 & 2007 at Trichy one of the metros in India in which more than 8000 Students from various Engineering and Arts & Science colleges had participated. We at Bodhi have a strong and committed team to offer the above services.
